About the Role
Based in our Pontefract office, you will work on a variety of civil and structural engineering projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. After successfully completing your probationary period, you will have the option to transition to a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake structural analysis and design across steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures
Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical reports
Assist with site inspections, surveys, and assessments
Collaborate with senior engineers and technicians to deliver high‑quality project outcomes
Liaise with clients, contractors, and external stakeholders as required
Essential Requirements
Minimum 2.5 years’ industry experience in a civil or structural engineering role
BSc in Civil Engineering or MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering
Must have completed a structural engineering module at university
Strong understanding of UK design codes and standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and report‑writing skills
Desirable
Experience with structural design software (e.g., Tekla Tedds, AutoCad, Tekla Structural Designer, etc.)
Progress toward professional accreditation (IEng/CEng)
